Online Learning And Practicing Tamil

The Tamil language is one of the world’s longest-surviving classical languages, with a history dating back to 300 BCE. Tamil literature has a rich and long literary tradition spanning more than two thousand years. The teaching faculty of Semmozhi Tamil School take pride in being a part of this mission to pass on our Tamil language and culture over to the next generation.

Tamil literature is dominated by poetry, especially Sangam literature, which is composed of poems composed between 300 BCE and 300 CE. Along with the school syllabus we also try to teach Thirukural , Aathisoodi , Ulaganeethi, Nalvazhi and Bharathiyaar kavithaigal to our students.

To master any language one should follow LSRW rule, Listen, Speak, Read and Write. In Tamil there is a saying “Chithiramum Kai pazhakkam, Sentamizhum Naappazhakkam” which means “You will master Art only if you keep practising and  you will master a Language only if you keep speaking it”.
